Taipei Double-Decker Dining Car: A Moving Feast with a View
Looking for a unique way to experience Taipei? The Taipei Double-Decker Dining Car lets you enjoy a full-course meal while touring the city on a custom-built sightseeing bus. This is Taiwan’s first double-decker dining bus, offering a fresh and exciting twist to the typical dinner reservation.
From the moment you board, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary ride. With a clear panoramic roof and floor-to-ceiling windows, the city becomes your dining room view. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a fun way to explore, this moving restaurant is one of the most unforgettable experiences in Taipei.
The Experience
This is the country’s first mobile double-decker dining experience. The upper deck offers scenic views while the lower deck serves as the kitchen and service area.
From October to December 2024, the dining bus features exclusive seasonal menus in partnership with the well-known Rice House Canteen. You can expect creative and carefully plated dishes made with quality ingredients.
As you dine, the bus passes by some of Taipei's most iconic spots, including Tao Zhuyin Garden, Taipei 101, the Apple Flagship Store, and the heart of the East District. The view is fully visible from every seat, thanks to the transparent roof design.
